You're starting to sound like ME! Do you know that Thrifty (Rite Aid) ice cream cones were only 5c for single when I was growing up?! Talk about old fogey!!! hahaha
I seem to remember that Girl Scout cookies once cost 50-cents a box, and I definitely remember when they were $1.00.....a lotta money! I'll tell ya...today's cookies don't taste any better than yesteryears'...... In fact, I think we used to have a greater variety....
And you would be the one to remember, Janet. Every year you sold more boxes than anyone else in Long Beach. When it came to selling whatever, or collecting for any good cause, you were always the champion. You have such a powerful competitive spirit! Kol haKavod!!!!

ReplyDeleteSavta takes the cake though. She told me last week that she bought your house for $15,000 with $10 down!
DeleteShe actually bought the house at $13,500 with $10 down on a handshake agreement!
