So everyone, I have 213 pictures of 4th of July alone to sort through. Not to mention the 200-odd other ones that Mom and Jonathan took this past weekend. Recording our life for posterity sure gets complicated sometimes.
In the meantime, while I sort, enjoy the last of the photos from last week, before Mom got here:
Brushing teeth in the bathtub. All the lights were off in the room so it was easy to see the necklaces and the light-up toothbrushes.
Xander laughing at something and Ari turning to look at him.
Putting an arm around big brother as he started to say "cheese."
Ari in an official classroom photo. I think the photographer ordered them backwards, as to me it makes more sense looking at them right to left. Either way, yay for building towers!
That same day, Ari and a friend on the playground bridge.
Mr. Ari is also becoming a shockingly self-sufficient toddler. For example, if one is hungry, why bother telling Mommy and Daddy? Just walk into the pantry, climb up on a shelf, and grab a breakfast cereal bar to unwrap and eat. Or if one wants to watch TV, don't bother asking a parental unit. Just open the DVD binder/case, find and take out "Cars," stick it in the DVD player, and press buttons on the remote until it turns on. Jonathan and I are in all seriousness very proud of his ability to take the initiative... we just wish it wasn't always for things that we don't want him to get into!
He's a "1" in Numerology....leader, takes initiative, thinks he's always right. Uh-oh, I'm a "1" too! tee hee hee You've got your hands full!
ReplyDeleteHugs, love, and luck to all!
