One-year anniversary

As of yesterday, July 2nd, I've been at my position for one whole year!  That went fast.  At the same time, Cincinnati feels like so very long ago.

It's such a great place to be - let me share with you one fun example of why I like working here, and with the senior rabbi, specifically.

I realized the other day that I'd been conducting a long string of emails on a topic that she should know about, but that I had neglected to tell her.  I forwarded her the email train, apologizing profusely for not having CC'd her before and promising to do so on all future emails on this topic.

Her response?

"50 lashes with a wet kugel noodle."
