Yowch.

Our eldest son just schooled me in how to set up a local multi-player video game, so he and Ari could play together.

That was painful.

What's worse is that I know it's only the first time of many.

  1. At first blush it looks like roles reversed. It's really just generational expansion. The six-year-old teaches mommy the technical rules of the game. Mommy keeps teaching the social rules of the game: good sportsmanship, losing with grace, winning with grace, sharing the limelight, "menchmanship!"

  2. Think of it this way, Michal. He'll be able to help you with all things like this! You're doing exactly what G and I did for you....raised you for your world, not ours. You're raising your boys for their world, not yours. I'm proud of you.
