X and Lauren; I taught her kids when they were in 6th grade, and they're now in college. Ouch.
The three introverts (Sheryl, Wendy, Jonathan) hiding in the kitchen. Mom asked them to squish closer for the picture. "Introverts don't cuddle!" proclaimed Sheryl with a smile. :)
X and Dawn
Chana and Linda
Barbara and Cristina
Eileen (my own 3rd-grade religious school teacher!), Cathe who made the beautiful tree tapestry in my office, and Sheryl who understands my love of arcane Hebrew books.
And last but not least, Connor pushing Ari... see below, this happens at home too.
What a spectacular homecoming celebration ingathering! The pictures are marvelous.
ReplyDeleteThe power of love and friendship brought you people together, and I'm sorry I couldn't be there too. My own closeness with some of these folks goes back scores of years. Though separated by miles and calendars, we never forget each other. Look to what lengths we go to reconnect whenthe opportunity arises. Kol haKavod to all of you!!!
Connor, just exactly one-year-old, and he's the powerful engine transporting three-year-old Ari around on our gravity-based planet!!!
ReplyDeleteIn my mind's eye, I can see Connor holding the Earth's Globe on his shoulder while he's grinning happily!
1) Family is what we make of it, no? I have the largest, loveliest extended family anywhere.
ReplyDelete2) LOL yep! The child is strong. And determined. I love that Ari plays with both brothers.
