I'm back!

And I bet most of you didn't even know I was gone.  :)

I just spent four days in sunny Palm Springs at the PARR Convention, Pacific Association of Reform Rabbis.  It's the CCAR's western regional branch.

And it was amazing!  I caught up with old friends, made new ones, learned a lot at the seminars, and learned even more through networking.

Of course, calling home when I was away and hearing the boys' voices was near excruciating.  It was so lovely that I got home in the evening so I could put them to bed and snuggle.

Hooray for kidlets and husbands and kitty cats who gave me a big warm welcome!

  1. In my opinion, a break away from home from time to time is a good idea. You get the chance to recharge your professional batteries, and when you return home, the happy reunion stokes the family's loving fires so they burn brighter and hotter. Welcome Home! Now we're complete again!

  2. I definitely noticed you were gone! And so close to touch but still very far away. I'm glad you enjoyed the conference and that it recharged your batteries in several ways. I can only imagine how wonderful it was for you to tuck your babies in upon your return and how happy everyone (2 legged and 4 legged) was to see you.
    I love you bunches,
    Mom
